What you'll learn

Chest compressions and rescue breathing for adults, children, and infants.

Choking response

How to help someone who is choking — including infants and children.

First Aid basics

Bleeding control, burns, shock, and how to stay calm and useful in an emergency.

Classes run approximately 2 hours. Educational only — these community classes are not intended for professional certification.

Made for everyone in the Portland metro.

Parents and grandparents. New caregivers. Teachers, coaches, and youth leaders. Baristas and bartenders. Neighbors who just want to be ready. There's no minimum age and no prerequisites — if you want to learn, there's a seat for you.

CPR For All was created to remove the financial barrier to learning CPR and First Aid. We're a community project serving Oregon — supported by volunteers, sponsors, and neighbors who believe lifesaving skills belong to everyone.

Are the classes really free?

Yes. Every CPR For All class in Portland is completely free — $0 to attend. There are no hidden fees, no supply costs, and no income requirements. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to learn lifesaving skills, regardless of financial circumstances.

Will I get certified?

No. These community classes provide free, hands-on CPR & First Aid education and do not include a certification card.

Who can attend?

Anyone. There is no minimum age and no prerequisites. Parents, grandparents, teachers, coaches, neighbors, caregivers — everyone in the Portland community is welcome.
